In Little Axe, Oklahoma, Steve leads worship at the Mercy and Grace Praise Center church. He also hosts a weekly house church in his home. Our dear brother, Steve, lives in a private community in rural Oklahoma. The community has traditionally gotten water in their homes through a small water system that's powered by a central well system. For a long time, the water service has been an issue even though the residents have been paying their water bills in good faith for the upkeep & continued service of the central well system. At times the water coming from Steve's faucet was a slow trickle, while a lot of the time there wasn't a drop. Steve has been using bottled water & reusing gallon jugs to keep water in his house for drinking, making tea, to use the restroom, to cook & wash up. Earlier this year, after a long spell without running water, the residents received notice that the well system was broken beyond repair & that each resident would be responsible for providing their own water, by paying for their own well to be dug or some other means. Steve is retired & couldn't afford to have his own well put in, so he kept doing what he was used to - filling jugs. One Way For The Nations Foundation responded to the need for help. By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, we were able to gather materials, mostly donated, & construct a small water tower system to restore the water to Steve's home. Steve is very thankful & happy to have water back in his faucets & bathroom. We are so blessed to be able to serve our brother in need & give glory to God for providing all the resources! Praise the Lord!
